Harness Racing Australia – Colors Auction Terms and Conditions

• Preamble:                Harness Racing Australia has commissioned the making of all colors for Grand Finalists of the 2015 Tab Touch Perth Inter Dominion.  Every effort will be made to ensure the colors are worn in the Inter Dominion Grand Final race, with the colors auctioned signed by the trainer and driver of each horse.  Each comes with its own unique description and certificate of authenticity.  This is a unique opportunity to acquire a true piece of Australian and New Zealand Sporting history. 

   

  You may be the successful bidder for the winning set of colors which will make them a priceless piece of history.

Good luck with your bids and we hope that you participate in the spirit in which this is intended.

1. This auction is being conducted by Harness Racing Australia Incorporated (HRA), with all proceeds raised directed to the Harness Racing South Australia Fire Appeal.

2. You must register your details with us to use the Service (your "Account"). Registration is free and does not oblige to you purchase anything.

3. All bids are made in Australian Dollars and will be in $10 increments.

4. There is a reserve price of $200 per set of colors.  The bidding for each set of colors will commence at $200

5. The successful bidder will be that person who has the highest bid placed at the time of the auction closing.

6. Auction Closing time will be the advertised start time of the 2015 Tab Touch Perth Inter Dominion.

7. All winning bidders will be notified by email.  Follow up instructions will be issued to each successful bidder which will include the payment process available.  HRA will be collecting the payments.   All payments are to be made in Australian Dollars.  Any conversion required will be at the time of the Auction closing.

8. HRA will issue a receipt for payment, which will include the details of the goods, the amount paid, and acknowledgement of the donation made.

9. Each set of colors will be signed and will come with a certificate of authenticity.

10. HRA will be responsible for the payment of standard postage for the delivery of the goods.  It is the responsibility of the buyer to notify HRA, at the time of organizing payment if registered post or courier delivery is required.  These additional costs, as well as any transit insurance will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

11. The auction will commence by Saturday 5th December (or earlier) and will run for a period as per below.

12. All times referred to are Western Australian Standard Time.

    Our liability to you

    a.     In an online auction we are not responsible for bids not received, processed or accepted due to technical difficulties.  In particular, we are not responsible for any loss, liability or damage incurred by you as a result of a bid not received, processed or accepted due to technical difficulties.

    b.       We provide the Site and the Service without any express or implied warranty or condition concerning the Site's capacity.

    c.    Neither we nor our suppliers will be liable for any lost profits or any special, incidental or consequential damages (however arising, including negligence) arising out of or in connection with the delivery of the Service or the sale of any good.

    d.   We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to the Service. Operation of the Site may be restricted by factors outside of our control or during maintenance.
    You acknowledge that the internet can be an unstable and, sometimes, insecure environment. At times the Service may not be available and "Buy Now" Sale or bids placed at online auctions may not be processed or accepted.

    e.        We cannot guarantee that we will notice or be able to prevent any illegal or inappropriate use of the Site.

    f.        We cannot guarantee the preservation of any record, particularly after the provision of the Service to you has been suspended, cancelled or terminated and may delete information at our sole discretion and without notice to any person
