St. Therese of Lisieux Vintage Devotional Medal
This delicate necklace has an image of St. Therese of Lisieux, a French Roman Catholic nun who lived in the late 19th century. She entered the Carmelite convent in Lisieux at the age of 15 and became known for her deep spiritual insights, her simplicity, and her love of God. She is often referred to as the "Little Flower" because of her approach to spirituality, which emphasized humility, simplicity, and childlike trust in God. In her autobiography, "The Story of a Soul," she described herself as a small and insignificant flower in God's garden, who nevertheless could offer her fragrance and beauty to God. The nickname "Little Flower" was given to her by her fellow nuns in the Carmelite convent. Saint Therese of Lisieux is known for many miracles attributed to her intercession after her death.
