Oaxaca Mexican Colorful Sun and Moon Pottery Hand Painted with White Pelicans.  The Sun, 7" diameter, The Moon, 5" x 6"

White Pelicans are frequent winter residents in Galveston.  Often found in flocks fishing on the water like the scene painted on The Sun.  On the back of The Sun is a haiku written to a white pelican seen one night on the Guadaloupe River during a conoe race.
