Whiskey Prototype Collection – Treaty Oak Distillery, Austin Texas

This basket of whiskey and gin prototypes originate from the Treaty Oak Distillery in Austin, Texas. Several of them were introduced in the 2018 rollout of its products, launching in Michigan in 2019. For rare whiskey collectors, some of the included whiskeys, despite their extraordinary flavor, were not selected for national rollout and will remain rare. These are the Real Ale Porter Whiskey, the Hanzoku Whiskey, and the Gaujillo Whiskey. The products are in their original test bottles from the distillery’s lab. Treaty Oak has become well-known in Austin as a day trip destination to explore spirits innovation. In the last several months the Treaty Oak Whiskeys have garnered critical acclaim and positive reviews. Its gins are also well-known. The included Waterloo No. 9 gin recently one a bottle-shock victory, taking a Masters Award at the GinMasters competition in London. The Treaty Oak products are taken to market in collaboration with Mahalo, the founders of Angel’s Envy Bourbon of Louisville, Kentucky.
