Toronto City Hall, Vijo Revell. Toronto, CA

This cast metal miniature of Vijo Revell’s international open competition winning design for Toronto’s modern City Hall was a souvenir from a Small Building Collectors Society meeting  (SBCS) and demonstrates their characteristic attention to detail. This was an important 1957 international competition entered by more than 500 of architects around the world executed in two stages and ultimately won by Finnish architect Vijo Revell who passed away before the project was ultimately completed by his collaborators.
