Beverly is a fabulous local pastel painter from Carefree, AZ. This pastel painting of a coyote was created from a photo given to her by a friend and she was inspired to paint it. Coyotes are common here in the Arizona desert and a welcome part of our natural landscape. The Native Americans have long felt coyotes are mythological figures and have called them "tricksters" for their comical trickster character.
