Rayleigh's Scattering - Fiber Wall Hanging - Debra Kay measures 22" x 26"
This piece was inspired by a text from my brother He was sitting outside early one morning sipping coffee and texted "Now I know why they call them 'Purple Mountain Majesty" I looked out and saw the lavender hues of the Catalina Mountains. This phenomenon is called Rayleigh's Scattering for the Scientist that discovered the way sunlight moves through particles seen in the distance.
