I love these gentle giants, the Saguaro Cactus. Those living in Arizona and Northern Mexico are lucky to have Saguaro forests in our own backyards, they only grow in the Sonoran Desert. They are so beautiful and majestic, I just had to paint them. We must care for this unique plant with our changing climate. We now have so many more fires, longer droughts, and urban sprawl that are happening, endanger these beauties.
