A brick is just a brick until its used to build a wall. Once it becomes a part of a larger whole it can be used to accomplish many things. Protection of assets, privacy or simply to keep someone out. It can be used to prevent the flow of ideas and culture or the migration of peoples as well. While I do enjoy the thought of walls and painting on them, I'm not keen on the idea of keeping culture at bay.
