Robie Benve was born and raised in Italy, the first of her family to graduate from college. Sheearned an MBA from the University of Venice, Italy. In 2010, her journey led her to Columbus, Ohio, where she found the opportunity to pursue her artistic calling and got to experience first-hand the transformative power of art. By combining acrylics, inks, and papers on canvas she represents her fascination with the tapestry of our surroundings, its subtleties of color and light, and the ever-shifting dance of forms and textures. On an ongoing quest to seize the fleeting moments within the landscape that inspire awe and a sense of unbreakable connection with the natural world, she hopes her works inspire to actively safeguard the environment.
