Sylvia Efta began her journey in metalworking at the Cultural Arts Center in 1992. She studied under Juanita Hill. She also studied under Robert Smith, goldsmith from Blacklick, Virginia, for two long weekends in West Virginia.  She took two workshops in Wild Acres, N.C. Under Alan Revere from San Francisco. She also studied areas of interest include “Blacksmithing”  under Paul Ailing, and “Bronze Casting” with Fredrick McMullen of the Culture Arts Center. She enjoys the creative process and loves being involved with other artists, with similar interests.
