Art comes naturally to Kathy Watts, being born to creative parents. She wasn’t even aware she had a skill that a lot of others don’t. In the beginning, it was more acrylic on canvas with human forms. Now, she’s all over the place with her art. She goes to a lot of art exhibits, and gets inspired by all the various techniques and compositions. She then has to go home and see what she can come up with, mixing all the new ideas that she has just seen. At this particular time she is using a lot of texture and making abstracts. What she creates is often dependent on her mood. It’s definitely her way to find peace and escape the world for a time.
