Here are some facts:
Robert Shawn Peace grew up with a father in prison, convicted of manslaughter.
Robert Shawn Peace's mother was intent on nurturing her son's intellectual promise by sacrificing greatly to send him to private school.
Robert Shawn Peace's promise was so evident, he was accepted into many competitive schools, and he attended his second choice, Yale, majoring in one of the most challenging majors, Molecular Biophysics and and Biochemistry.
He easily graduated from Yale in 2002.
He was also a drug dealer, while at Yale--and after.
He was killed in a drug-related conflict in 2011.
