Oso Negro was born in Nelson, BC, and fledged from a 100-year-old, brick-lined room roasting with a 1 kg Petroncini roaster. We focused on keeping things fresh, simple and enjoyable.

Just one block above vibrant Baker Street, we are the hub for creativity and connecting with the community. In the warmer months, you will see folks spread throughout the perennial garden, socializing and enjoying the serene setting. In the winter, snow enthusiasts will line up to get a shot of caffeine before hitting the mountains, and others gather around tables taking refuge from the cold in the cosy environment. Being right in the heart of Nelson allows us to be a space for our community to connect, indulge and relax in.
