Jellyfish Workshop with Sayaka Ganz

Sayaka Ganz is a Fort Wayne-based artist best known for using reclaimed metal and plastic objects in her sculptures in a “3D impressionist” style. In this workshop, a friend and/or family group of up to 10 people —mixed ages, nine and up— will learn how to take a plastic soda bottle and transform it into a colorful plastic jellyfish sculpture, with step-by-step guidance by Sayaka.

This workshop is truly for artists at all levels—modifications and simplified options are available depending on your skill level.

Note: Each student is asked to bring one or more plastic 2-liter soda bottles (Coke products work best).

Additional tools and materials will be provided.

Workshop duration: 90-120 minutes.
