My inspiration this year is my handsome 13 year old rescue, Tuxedo, aka Tuxi. His parents were strays that were caught and moved to a farm. He was born on the farm; however, sadly he was the only one in the litter to survive. We knew immediately that he deserved a safer life. He was literally just a ball of fluff as a kitten. I had just had to say goodbye to my first cat that I'd had since I was a child, and whom we had adopted from Helping Paws as a wonderful kitten, and he seemed to know that I needed him. He has never left my side since. He knows when I need him. Tuxi is a spunky and playful senior kitty with way too many whiskers! He is very photogenic as well! All of my cats have been rescues and Helping Paws is a great place to find the perfect rescue companion to share their love and devotion with you.
