Costa Rica Mansion for a Week in September of 2019

5 Huge Bedrooms, 4.5 Baths With Great Pool! A Few Minutes Walk To The Beach!

David Pokorny, a AWOW supporter, has graciously donated the rental of his Costa Rica Mansion, located in the  Nosara/Playa Guiones community, for a week to the lucky winner in September of 2019. The specific dates will be coordinated with the owner.

The house is in the Guiones Beach Club which is the only gated community adjacent to the beach in Playa Guiones or in the area! It has a private entrance to the beach, as well as a guard house to allow only homeowners and renters into the community. For added security, the guards make regular rounds at night.

The main feature of the home is based on outdoor living. When David designed the house, he did not want any interior hallways, which made each bedroom separate from each other. This also allows for privacy come bedtime or waking up in the morning (no one else has to be woken up accidentally by your 5 am dawn patrol sesh!). 3 of the bedrooms have their own bathroom, while 2 bedrooms share an adjacent bathroom. All of the bathrooms have rain showers. There is a 7 foot deep wave shaped pool which most everyone loves because it stays cool in the heat of the day! The back of the home has a breathtaking view of the mountains in the distance while still only being 8 minute walk to the beach! Each bedroom comes equipped with a digital safe. There is an 8 foot tall security/privacy wall with gated entrances so you will not be bothered by unwanted visitors. Also during the dry season, there are usually water shortages which cause the local water authority to cut off service for hours at a time. The house has a 1500 gallon backup cistern so the house will never be out of water!
