Go Fish! Electrofishing Experience

Bring a friend on a specially outfitted boat for a 2-hour fishing excursion like none other! See how ecologists use low-voltage currents to temporarily — and harmlessly — stun fish, and then help net and record any that rise to the surface before returning them to the water. Learn, too, how electrofishing helps ecologists study the overall quality — and fishing opportunities — of local waters. Ages 18 and up. $250 value. Can be scheduled in fall 2023; expires 5/1/24.
