A photograph from Kevin Horan’s portrait study of ordinary farm animals. The 30”x24” print is made by the artist with archival pigment inks on heavy cotton rag paper. Unframed, the print is number three in an edition of eight, signed verso. Image size is 28”x22”.

Kevin Horan is an artist who works on projects which look at animals as people, people as animals, and the planet as a very small place. His pictures are reality-based, and he enjoys finding the amazing revealed in the ordinary.  A recovering photojournalist, Horan has published his work in The New York Times Magazine, Smithsonian, LIFE, U.S. News & World Report, National Geographic, and numerous other magazines and books.
