Why Raja:
Raja Ampat is an archipelago of over 1,500 small islands, including the four main islands of: Misool, Salawati, Batanta and Waigeo. Scientists have conducted several marine surveys in our area and their findings indicate that the marine life diversity here is the highest of any recorded on Earth. The variety of aquatic species, the variety and density of healthy vibrant corals and the abundance of fish has to be experienced to fully understand the importance of conserving the area. Less than 1 minute from the resorts is the famous ‘Cape Kri’ reef which holds the World’s Record for the highest number of fish species ever counted.

The Diving:
Diving includes 3 daily guided boat dives with an optional dusk/night dive. All dive sites are less than 15 minutes from the resort, so you can spend your surface interval relaxing and refreshing in comfort. Unguided diving direct from Kri Eco or Sorido Bay resort’s jetty is also possible 7 days a week.  

Resort:
The resort is made of locally sourced and low-impact materials; shaped and equipped to sustain the excesses of natural forces typical of the coastal area and tropical climate; styled very much in accordance with the local tradition of architecture. The setting allows incredible views of sunrise and sunset and gentle breezes in the evening. Our Papuan cottages create a feeling of calm and closeness with nature to a level few have experienced.

• Scheduled boat transfers and Nitrox for Enriched Air certified divers included.
• Dive Insurance is mandatory.
• Lodging is for a standard 7 night Sunday to Sunday stay and includes scheduled boat transfers to/from Sorong. Outside of high season (October to March) non standard stays are accepted but boat transfers will be an extra charge.
