Janice Joplin - Oh Say Can't You See

Clay artist Janice Joplin embellished her altar to create a LARGE piece. "Oh Say Can't You See" is written on the front edge of the altar while pieces of dried wheat stalk rise out of the altar. Sheep flank the front of a female sculpture holding two fish --almost-- over her eyes, perhaps suggesting blind justice. A mask is placed on the altar to indicate the reality of 2020 American and figures adorn the top of the altar, two of them in cages.

• All altars start with an opening bid of $75.
• Each subsequent bid must follow the minimum increment of $10.
• Every altar has a Buy It Now price of $250.

• Local winners will be contacted about details for picking up altars at a designated location via contactless pickup in San Antonio.
• When local pickup is not possible, shipping costs are the responsibility of the winner and will be in addition to the high winning bid amount. Shipping fees will be handled as a separate payment and an invoice will be sent for the shipping amount due. This will be determined once address is given and the altar is packed up for shipping. Circle will not include any additional fees for handling.
