"Beach Road Bait House" by Rip Harrison

Limited Print of Postcard sent to Estelle Stair by Rip Harrison, unframed

Rip Harrison was a native of Corpus Christi who graduated from the University of Houston and retired to Fulton after working for Southern Mineral Corporation for 31 years in marketing and transportation.  He was a favorite artist and teacher at the early Rockport Art Association in the Estelle Stair Gallery and at Rockport Art Festivals.   He thought the Rockport boat basin was the prettiest place in the US, saying “You could go to the turning basin and stay there the rest of your life and never paint the same thing.”
