Foursome of Golf at Weymouth Country Club
About Weymouth Country Club
To enjoy a foursome of golf at The Weymouth Club is to commune with nature. The course was designed in 1969, making perfect use of the native sand, the indigenous plant life, and the congregations of trees. The hallmark of Weymouth’s success is the playing condition of the course. Meticulous maintenance practices and continual site improvements keep the course in outstanding shape each and every year. This is why for the third time the USGA has hand picked Weymouth Country Club to host the 2010 US Open Local Qualifier. Expansive, undulating, bent grass greens average over 7,500 sq. ft. and are tailored to test the skills and abilities of even the most experienced golfer. Each hole begins from one of five sets of bent grass tee boxes, which were designed to accommodate a range of playing abilities. As such, the course ranges from 5,200 to 7,100 yards. From the moment that the first ball is struck until the last putt drops, The Weymouth Club provides a golfing experience which is simultaneously challenging, often maddening, and unfailingly exhilarating!
