Ms. Sandy’s Annual Towpath Bike Ride!
In early summer, (date dependent on weather and the condition of the towpath and Potomac River), I will take 10 children on a bike ride on the C&O Canal from Keep Tryst Road to Harpers Ferry. We will leave our bikes at bike racks and walk across the bridge to Harper's Ferry where we will hike to Jefferson's Rock, tour the cemetery, and, if it is open, go to the John Brown Wax Museum. Children should bring a packed lunch and water bottles. We will eat our lunch in historic Harpers Ferry. On the ride back to Keep Tryst Road, we will stop and play along the Potomac River!
