Quality Road was a top racehorse who showed impressive talent in his 3-year-old campaign with dominant wins in the Grade 1 Florida Derby (where he set a new track record) and Grade 2 Fountain of Youth Stakes. He then had an incredible 4-year-old campaign with victories in the Grade 1 Woodward Stakes, Grade 1 Metropolitan Handicap, and the Grade 1 Donn Handicap which he won by over 12 lengths and set a new track record. Overall, Quality Road won four Grade 1 Stakes and earned over $2 Million while setting track records in three graded stakes.

He is now a very successful young stallion currently top of the General Sires list by Grade 1 winners and Grade 1 horses. Sire of nine individual Grade 1 winners including, Abel Tasman (Five time G1 winner and 2017 Eclipse Champion Three-Year-Old filly), City of Light, Bellafina, Spring Quality, Salty, Klimt Hootenannay (BC Juvenile Turf and Royal Ascot winner), and Illuminate.

Only two sires since the advent of Graded Stakes racing in the USA in the early 1970's, have sired more individual Grade 1 winners from their first five crops to race, they are Galileo (IRE) and Giant's Causeway. Quality Road's total progeny earnings are over $31 Million.
