Marilyn Kalish is a full-time working artist who has been making art for over 30 years, as her family before her. She divides her time between her Boston and Berkshire studios. This year,she has been awarded the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and has been selected for the 2020 Art Basel. Marilyn owns the Vault Gallery in Great Barrington. She has been formally trained in prestigious art schools and has worked in museum conservation labs where she helped restore ancient Greek and Roman art. Flying Cloud’s headquarters at Saint James CHurch has always been a special place for Kalish. She was welcomed years ago to have her studio in the same church building as where FCI now has their office.
