I wanted to create an image with several meanings. Wood is to symbolize nature/natural element unable to be hurt by the power provided by the battery, the Battery providing energy which is (electricity,) the power needed to destroy the virus. A heart representing the respect for the NHS. The bright art and dark and murky Covid, exposing a contrast and differentiating positive and negative – as evident on a battery.
AIZE started out with Graffiti in 1983 at the age of 11. Having been through the care system and being rebellious he was captivated by this new sub-culture from the very first sighting. Always an introvert he kept himself locked away not exposing himself due to a lack of self-esteem, that did change when he reached his late teens and since that time Azerox has painted in several continents and numerous countries. In 2004 AIZE moved to live/work in China where he still resides to this day. Having helped to move along a non-existent scene in China and now further afield in places such as Thailand,Philippines,Vietnam,Cambodia. Currently he is working on projects with Brim Fuentes of Tats Cru and is still in love with the scene.
