Mike Perry Bio:
Mike Perry is an Emmy Award-winning artist whose work ranges from paintings to animation, sculptures, books, public art installations, monographs, exhibitions, drawings, silkscreens, and more. His creative purpose is to conjure the feeling of soul-soaring wonder you have when you stare into distant galaxies on a dark night, when you go on long journeys into the imagination, when you ponder what it is that this life is all about. Perry’s work has been included in shows the world over. He is the curator of the ongoing series “#GetNudeGetDrawn” which had its sixth installment in the spring of 2018. His foray into the world of animation has been highlighted by his continued work on Comedy Central’s Broad City for which his studio has won the 2018 Motion Design Jury Award for the “Mushrooms” Episode. On quiet days, Mike can be found drinking coffee and painting in his Brooklyn studio under the watchful gaze of Bass the dog.
