Dark Wisdom WonderMala (medium), made and blessed by Lama Willa
The Dark Wisdom WonderMala is a hefty, medium-sized mala made of waxed volcanic lava from the Phillipines, turquoise, and coral with a smoke-jade guru bead and pure sterling silver spacers. The mala is made with 108 beads and accent beads are placed at the 7th, 21st and 54th beads, as is customary for counting mantras. Lama Willa used the strongest mala cord available (braided nylon deep-sea fishing line), the string she uses for her own malas. The mala is knotted and hand-waxed at the bottom for maximum durability. Beads are 10mm.
WonderMalas are made using designs from Eastern Tibet with the old-world philosophy that durability and functionality are the most important qualities for prayer beads.
