Original Thich Naht Hanh Calligraphy

This is an original hand-calligraphy, in ink on natural rag paper, by global spiritual leader Thich Naht Hanh, in a fine quality frame.

Thich Naht Hanh, the founder of Plum Village in France and the head of the Order of Interbeing was called “an apostle of peace and nonviolence” by Martin Luther King. In addition to being a teacher of Buddhism, he is also an accomplished artist and poet.

The calligraphy says “samtusta” in old Vietnamese script, with the English transliteration and translation. Samtusta is originally a Sanskrit term that means “you have enough”, and it refers to a heart that is contented and satisfied with whatever one has.
