Two bottles of Chateau Bahans Haute-Brion 2004
From the storied Chateau Haut-Brion founded in 1533 in the center of the Bordeaux Region.
Tasting Notes :Bright red-ruby. Ripe, enticing aromas and flavors of
plum, smoked meat and underbrush. Pure and focused in the mouth, with a
firm mineral spine contributing to the impression of tightness. Finishes
with solid tannins that are a bit dominant today.
Lovely, sweet fruit, with berry, chocolate and toasted oak. Medium- to full-bodied, with silky tannins and a long, fresh finish. Delicate and refined Score: 89/91James Suckling, Wine Spectator (April 05), April 2005
