About Pancake Pantry
The Pancake Pantry has been loved by generations of Nashvillians for great food and friendship. This Nashville tradition began in 1961 when Robert Baldwin opened The Pancake Pantry. His idea was to build a reputation and menu around a variety of uncommonly good pancakes. Equally important was the desire to develop a friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere, which would keep customers coming back time and time again. In 1978, Robert’s son, David Baldwin, became partners with his father and eventually became sole owner in 1988. Today, the Pancake Pantry still fulfills the goal of uncommonly good food and great service. While we believe our pancakes cannot be beat, the warmth and kinship you find here is really a Nashville trait, and we are so happy to be a part of it!
