Ocean Discovery 1-Hr. Program for Local School (K-6th)
Join staff marine biologists from the Ocean First Institute (OFI) for an incredible ocean adventure! Our Ocean Discovery program showcases iconic marine wildlife and involves interactive, engaging activities that help motivate and support students for success in the advancement of their education in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). Each 60 minute program, available for students in grades K-6th, entails a presentation given by OFI staff scientists and hands-on activities that allow students to explore the marine world while demonstrating how we are all connected to the ocean, no matter where we live.
This item will be good for any of our Ocean Discovery programs (Sharks, Sea Turtles, Whales, Corals, Dolphins, Deep Sea Creatures & Bioluminescence, Seals & Sea Lions, Octopuses, Penguins, Polar Bears, Manatees, and many more!!), to be presented by an OFI staff scientist for a school classroom along the Front Range (within 1.5 hours of our Boulder office) within one year. This item will be available for pick-up by the winning bidder at the end of the fundraiser event on Sept. 21st (by 8:15 PM) or at the Ocean First Institute Boulder office (3015 Bluff St., Boulder, CO) by Oct. 5th. We can also ship to the winner of this item, with the winner covering the cost of shipping so that we can put our funds right back to ocean conservation work!
