One person will enjoy 7 nights accommodation, 12 dives and all meals at the Walindi Plantation Resort, an intimate dive resort situated on the shores of Kimbe Bay on the island of New Britain, Papua New Guinea. Celebrating over 30 years of operation, the resort is world famous for its quality of diving, international award-winning photography and warm hospitality.
Accommodations:
Walindi Bungalows are free standing "bure" style accommodation, built in local timbers and materials. They are nestled in the tropical gardens of Walindi, situated at various points along the ocean frontage of the resort.
Diving:
Kimbe Bay diving offers an incredible diversity of marine life. There are stunning hard and soft corals including large gorgonian fans and elephant ear sponges, all adorned with colourful crinoids ... a delight to all who dive here. It is possible to see 100’s of varieties of fish and marine life including wrasse, schooling barracuda, azure triggerfish, butterfly fish, angelfish, octopi, garden eels, nudibranchs, scalloped hammerheads, grey reef sharks, and blacktip reef sharks.
