Green Wool and Silk Shawl-Scarf: by the Seven Sisters of Kyrgyzstan

This stunning, deep green scarf/shawl was handmade by the 7 Sisters of Kyrgyzstan. These sisters use the traditional Kyrgyz “ala-kiyiz” technique that combines handwoven silk with two layers of felted Kyrgyz wool for a one-of-a-kind effect.
