Thermal Imaging
Thermal Imaging is a non-invasive diagnostic tool that is drug and radiation free. It is quick full body imaging only takes about 20 minutes to complete.
What does thermal imaging see?
1. Circulation problems– tissue perfusion and blood flow within the superficial veins provides variation in the thermal gradients found within tissues. All organic tissues show heat
2. Metabolism – active metabolic areas, such as neoplastic tissues or areas of inflammation, have an increased thermal gradient greater than those areas less active metabolically.
3. Chronic and acute pain – neurovascular and neuromuscular conditions are depicted as having increased thermal gradients throughout their respective anatomical areas.
Inflammatory processes can be identified weeks earlier than with normal routine clinical evaluations.
