A Daylong Shamanism Workshop with Ed Yeats

DATE: Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 10am (arrive by 9:45) to 5:30pm in the comfort of Ed's home in Newton Corner, MA

This is an intimate workshop limited to 10 participants.

Curious about shamanism and shamanic healing? Interested in Internal Family Systems (IFS)?  

In an environment of warmth, support and welcome, join sangha member, long time teacher of shamanism, and Certified IFS therapist, Ed Yeats, for a day-long workshop. We will explore the worlds and ways of Compassionate Spirits and learn how to share their wisdom and power for personal healing and spiritual knowledge. (Open to beginners as well as those with some journey experience.)

With some help from a contemporary form of shamanic healing—the Internal Family Systems model—learn about shamanism, the 50,000 year old original spiritual practice, a living tradition on every continent. And get a taste of what is meant by working with our parts. Through ceremony, guided exercises, drumming, story and song, you will be introduced to the shamanic journey, and have opportunities to encounter your own Spirit allies. From this encounter you will receive the blessing of literally Bringing Spirit Home, while supporting the effort to sustain Wonderwell.

This is a "Blind Bid" auction item: The top 10 bidders will win a spot for the event. The bid history will be hidden and bidders can put in their top bids for a chance to win. If you are overbid, you will receive an email notification, and have the opportunity to increase your bid. 

Ed Yeats, Ph.D. has been practicing and teaching shamanism and shamanic healing in the Boston area for nearly 20 years. A founding member of the Society for Shamanic Practitioners, he has studied Core Shamanism with Michael Harner, Sandra Ingerman and several local teachers. He has also studied Bon Tibetan (Tamang) shamanism with Larry Peters, Ph.D. As is true for all shamanic practitioners, his most important training has been directly with the Spirits themselves. (While Ed is a practicing Psychologist and psychotherapist, this would not be psychotherapy or a psychological service.)

  2. Some items are “pick-up only” at Wonderwell. Please see each item for that indication.
  3. Shipping fees, if necessary, are the responsibility of the bidder and will be billed separately from the auction items (unless otherwise noted).
  4. We encourage pick-up of items at Wonderwell in Springfield, NH.
  5. It is the winning bidder’s responsibility to either pick-up items at Wonderwell or request and pay for shipping of items, by December 31, 2019. Items not retrieved by then will become the property of Natural Dharma Fellowship.
