About Alexis Baker...

Alexis Baker, a recent graduate from East Greenwich High School, has been an avid artist for about twelve years.  She has attended multiple art studios over the decade, most notably the Nancy Stephen Gallery in East Greenwich.  She has always had a penchant for the arts and expresses herself through her work.  She likes to work in several mediums, including oil painting, stone carving, and textiles.

Among Alexis’ accomplishments was the picture selected to adorn the J. Arthur Trudeau Center’s 2021 holiday card.  Alexis has been associated with the Trudeau Center in Rhode Island since she was three years old.

When thinking of the word “outlet,” most of us think of something that we do to express ourselves in a creative way, to enable ourselves to break from day-to-day routines. We can use these outlets as ways to bring attention to or to celebrate the things we love, which is the case for Alexis Baker.
