Jorn Utzon's Sydney Opera House - Sydney, AU

Jorn Utzon’s 1957 competition winning design (famously selected by Eero Saarinen, one of members of the final jury) opened to the public in 1973 and has since become the symbol of the city, and even the Nation. The design is a carefully calibrated array of spherical fragments containing an array of auditoria and performance venues thrust dramatically into Darling Harbor.
