The New Architecture evangalizes the rise of modern architecture in postwar Europe in 20 projects including Breuer & Roth’s Doldertaal Apartments in Zurich built for Sigfried Gidieon. Other projects include Alvar Aalto’s Vipiurii Library, Kocher and Fry’s Aluminum Weekend House (recently rebuilt in Palm Springs), Richard Neutra’s Experimental School in Los Angeles, and 16 others from around the world. Presented in a similar format to LeCorbusier’s Ouevre Complete, and includes a full suite of drawings including details all redrawn for this publication in a consistent “Swiss” format.
