A private, behind the scenes VIP tour of the newly renovated and expanded Arts United Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Arts United was designed by Louis I. Kahn and dedicated in October of 1973. The theater was one of Kahn's last works; the building is nationally significant as his only purpose-built performance venue (he referred to it as “a violin within a violin case”) and his only work in the American Midwest. The building draws upon the brick and concrete grammar of his work in India and Pakistan during this period.
