Wine & Cheese Tour at Tahoe's Thunderbird Lodge

Explore the historic Thunderbird Lodge, lakeside grounds, gardens, and waterfalls while enjoying wine, beer, artisan cheese, and horse d'oeuvres. Your docent-led castle tour includes time at the estate soaking in the stunning panoramic Lake Tahoe views while sipping fine wine and savoring charcuteries and fresh fruit.

Exclusive guided tours let you explore the magic and mystery of the historic Thunderbird Lodge and Whittell Estate grounds. Learn about Captain Whittell’s contributions to conserving Lake Tahoe’s Nevada shoreline and see his world-famous mansion including secret tunnels, card house, and the legendary Thunderbird yacht (when available).

Note: Tour guests will take a shuttle from the Travel North Tahoe Nevada Welcome Center (969 Tahoe Blvd Incline Village) to the Thunderbird Lodge.

The winner will be responsible for picking up the prize at The Foundation's office in Tahoe City or coordinating with The Foundation to arrange for shipping at cost.
