Ken is currently work in traditional media including watercolor, oil on canvas and charcoal on paper. Recently, Ken's investigations in painting have drawn influence from the Natural world and are currently focused on the Upper Texas Coast, Texas Chenier Plain region, encompassing the Brazos River area west and the Neches & Sabine waterway areas east. Specific interests include marshlands, wetlands, coastal prairies, inland waterways, and the timeless Gulf Coast beaches that envelope Southeast Texas. This realm of inspiration has been percolating for many years and now is the time to further expand and explore this new body of work! Please view my Watercolors, Oil on Canvas and Drawings sections on this website to peruse images highlighting this series.
Ken's art can be found in some public and corporate collections regionally, as well as in private collections regionally, nationally and abroad. Ken participated in my first overseas international exhibition; "Texas Eclectics", a group show featuring 50 Texas artists. The exhibition was held at The Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art in Thessaloniki, Macedonia, Greece! For more news and information on exhibitions please view my CV and Exhibitions sections on this website.
