Reddish was painted during an art residency through the Art Center Of Corpus Christi and The University of Texas A&M where I spent a week on a spoil island in the Laguna Madre. Reddish Egerts were a constant companion, dancing to catch their food. I was inpired by their beautiful poses that were at times graceful and at other times goofy.
