Unique Quilt "Pot of Gold" 2004
Claremont Heritage - Unique Quilt "Pot of Gold" 2004
For a number of years Claremont Heritage members volunteered to make fabric blocks copying citrus crate labels. Several people put the blocks together and backed the quilt. Each year raffle tickets were sold for about a month around Village Venture day. On a stated date a ticket was drawn and the holder would win the quilt. The squares do give the initials of that sewer/artist. This quilt is the 2004 quilt entitled "Pot of Gold" and representing citrus labels from Southern California.
5' x 5' with 2004 w/label on reverse. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind piece to add to your collection.
