We are a family-owned winery committed to the old-world style of wine making. Paul Schmitz is the owner and has always had a passion for making wine. Paul first started making commercial wine in 2012 and opened up 24 Brix  on Highway 49 in February of 2015.  He first started out in his backyard making red table wine, however after meeting Luciano, a Master Chef from Chincotere Italy while in the restaurant business, Luciano taught him the old-world style of Italian winemaking and Paul has been using this process ever since.  Paul then spent the next 10 years working in the Napa Valley region learning and perfecting his wine palate.
