Our terrarium class is a one-of-a-kind experience of laughing, sipping, snacking, learning, and planting. You will have a $25 credit toward whatever terrarium you choose to plant. Prices include clean and healthy tropical plants, live mosses, beautiful rocks, and terrarium “bling” (i.e. figurines & found objects).
You’ll get to express your creativity using tropical rainforest plants, live mosses, and beautiful rocks & minerals, all while learning the amazing history, science, design, and maintenance of a truly self-contained, low-maintenance terrarium ecosystem.
About Us
The vision for Roosevelt’s Terrariums came to me in 2010 while I was grieving over the death of my dear wife of 37 years. As a single dad with my three younger kids still living at home, I wanted to do something WITH them, rather than just do everything FOR them.
I had been building terrariums as a hobby ever since I was a hippie down in Laguna Beach, California. So, I thought, “Why not open a terrarium shop together?” It took a few years to get it going but eventually, I was able to turn my hobby into a dream-business come true.
