This acrylic painting is one of my favorite subjects to paint. Sturdy and long lasting with color, coneflowers represent the beauty and simplicity in a Northern Illinois garden. I discovered at a young age that the process of art making is a rewarding experience while capturing images of your own personal world. The art process is a journey of discovery. Infused into my painting is an emotional response to the beauty in nature and how much I appreciate its value.
