Deluxe 2 Bedroom Suite for Five (5) Nights at DRIFT PALM SPRINGS, Including Daily $50 Breakfast Credit
This stay in a 2 bedroom suite for five (5) nights is for arrival Thursday February 15 and check-out Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
California cool meets the magic of the desert, just a short walk away from Downtown Palm Springs' best dining, nightlife and shops. At the Drift Palm Springs, there's no lobby. No checking in or checking out. No bellhops or concierge or valet parking. In some ways, it’s not a hotel at all. But then that’s what makes this slickly designed retreat one of the most interesting properties to pop up in Palm Springs in ages. A luxury resort-style destination that operates more like an Airbnb.
This brand-new 39 room property (opened spring 2023) offers stylish accommodations with tons of space. The multi-structure hotel blends desert elements with Bajan-chic style. The angular, white-stucco buildings are dotted with pops of muted murals, and surrounded by native succulents, statuesque cacti, tall palms, and green-trunked palo verde trees. The entire property is centered around an Olympic-size swimming pool flanked by cushioned chaise-lounge chairs, day beds, and mustard-yellow umbrellas.
Double down on space in your stylish two-bedroom suite — featuring two king-sized bedrooms, one full ensuite bathroom highlighted with onyx-hued stone countertops, double sinks, curated bath amenities and glass enclosed showers, a shiny-new kitchen that has just about everything you need including a stocked pantry, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and electric range, as well as an island with bar seating, mini-bar, plenty of glasses, plates, and cookware. There’s a spacious living room, and a large balcony or patio with ample seating and each unit offers streaming TV and WiFi.
Decor skews neutral and minimalist with concrete floors, white walls, paper-covered orb sconces, light wood platform beds and natural fiber throw rugs, giving a very relaxing Baja vibe.
Your stay includes a $50 daily breakfast credit at all-day eatery Maleza, a rustic Baja eatery that focuses on Bajan cuisine The street-facing restaurant's soaring ceilings, massive fireplace, and big bar open to an abundance of outdoor-patio seating.
Complimentary yoga takes place on Saturday mornings, and a low-key DJ spins later in the day. Bikes are available for guests to explore the city, and while there isn’t a gym you can borrow a yoga mat and do a fresh-air workout on your balcony, or anywhere on the grounds.
Set along Indian Canyon Drive, one block from main drag Palm Canyon Drive, the location feels surprisingly private and a world away from just about everything, yet still in a super central location from which it’s easy to walk to restaurants, shops, local museums, and even hikes.
Easily check in ahead of arrival on your phone, and then receive via text message an access code that you’ll use to get into both your room and common areas like the pool. Though there’s no daily maid service, you can request housekeeping for an additional fee.
