Three Letters, 2022 by Mika Martinez
Human rights and dignity. A concept that should be easy to grasp and experience, yet is something that we must demand daily for those who are most vulnerable to the systemic violations of civil liberties. Three Letters shares three different moments in history each connecting to the fight for human rights and dignity. This ongoing quest for what should be a basic human right is not new. It spans decades and generations and is embedded deep in American history. Each letter connects these experiences through personal accounts and observations. Reminding us that the fight for human rights and dignity is not over and that only through collective action will lasting change be made.
